What I want to believe is that George and lennie was going to get their land and live happy and stress free but I my mind I knew that it was not going to work out but what really makes me think that nothing was going to work out was when curly came into the shack and look at lennie the wrong way that’s how I knew that something was going to go down already they have some problems and haven’t been in their for a night it was just a matter of time plus lennie and George was growing farther apart even though they need each other for an example when they went down by the river and they got into an argument lennie was talking about leaving and I could bet George was thinking about letting him do it ‘George looked quietly at lennie then finaly said ive been mean aint I ‘(Steinbeck page 14). They where never going to get that ranch it was just in their heads

I think the four main characters will affect each other in a good and bad way because George and Lennie are getting along with candy pretty well and I think they might become friends along the way because they are getting so close but I also think like in weed that lennie will do something to curlys wife and get in trouble were someone wants to kill him not knowing that he did not do it on purpose or to be mean just a misunderstanding I also think that George and lennie wont get their land because of the mistake and that’s why I think that something is going to happen between the four main characters over the remainder of the book because you can some what predict the future by looking at the past if you don’t make change you will repeat your mistakes over and over again because you are not trying to do better.
