After the death of Lennie who was killed by George,I strongly think that George will try to continue to do what he wanted to do.I think George will get the place with Candy and get the rabbits and name one of the rabbits after Lennie.I also think that George will have a drinking problem due to the fact that he basically had to kill his brother.I think this because after he killed Lennie Slim helped George off the ground and they went for a drink.That could cause George to have a setback because every time George would get his check he would probably go to a whorehouse and drink his life away.If George gets the ranch with candy he would be sad because it wouldn't feel right without Lennie because it was Lennie's dream to be on the ranch and tend the rabbits.I feel that George would continue the dream f Lennie's or he would continue the good life but would still be sad because he doesn't have Lennie there by his side.
