In the book “of mice and men” George shot Lennie. I think George will start a new life but do things that remind him of Lennie. Most people would think George is going to live his life in a better way. As in he would drink and play at the cat house and be happy. I think he will be sad because he just killed his own childhood friend, the person he trusts the most (Steinbeck, 102). He would miss Lennie knowing that he wont get in trouble anymore He might stay working at the ranch in till he gets enough money to travel away. He will drink but in sober because he killed someone important to him (Steinbeck, 104). George may go on with the dream they had, so he would remember a happy moment that Lennie had before being killed (Steinbeck, 103).  George may have a better life with money and no problems but he would be depressed not having Lennie around. George wont be able to let his anger out on. George will also not have a good helper with him. In conclusion, George will move o with his life but also have Lennie’s memory with him. He will feel guilty because of what he did to Lennnie.
