Jeremiah Butler Post #4
My Prediction for George's future is he will save up money and get a barn and fill out him and Lennie's dreams. Also he will take candy with him to help around. that is my prediction because he really cared for Lennie and him and Lennie were like brothers in a sense so he would for fill the dreams they had in his memory. George is tired of having to keep getting a job and looking for things when he can make his own so he will get a barn and all the other things he was talking about. A lot of things have changed in Lennie's life at the end of this book because he no longer has George as a friend or partner so he will have to do things alone unless he can find another one. Lennie was George's only family left and now that he is gone he will more than likely be lonely. George and Lennie continued to bring up getting the barn in this book over and over again throughout the entire book. George has nothing else to do with his life now so he more than likely will get a new hobby or try to find a girlfriend or wife so he will not be alone. At the end of this book before George kills Lennie the last thing he is talking about is getting the barn and talking about the animals he will have on it so that will be more than likely his number 1 priority. I'm sure George is depressed that is why slim is taking him to get a drink.
