At the End of the book George kills Lennie but he could not forget what he did to Lennie he just killed the person that he was with for a long time. He got a girl and he told her about Lennie and what happened and told his kids about the house he was going to get with Lennie. Everything has changed cause George don't have Lennie to bug him about stuff the cant afford. In the book Lennie would want ketchup in But George would get mad and say stuff and although Lennie is taller and George is smaller Lennie does anything George Say's cause George save him from drowning in a lake. Even though George get's tiered of Lennie he still takes care of him cause he told Lennie's Aunt Clara that he would take care of Lennie. He Kept his promise until he did something that everyone wanted him dead for.
