It's hard to imagine what will happen in the future for George because it can go in many ways one way it could go is that George ends up buying the farm, another way is that George ttys to live his life as if nothing had ever happened, and the final way is that George kills himself.  The theory I am going to use is that George will move on with his life as if nothing had ever happened, George would constantly talk about the things that he could do if he never had to take care of Lenny like take his spend it. He says he could live a life of luxury, George would always wonder except now he didn't have to (pg.12, Steinbeck). I also think that while George is living his life as he wished he will always stick with Slim because Slim was the only one who seemed to understand or have the mind set to understand. George might think of committing suicide but Slim would make him realize there is more to live for. This is my opinion on what life would be like for George in the near future.
