At the end Of Mice and Men I think that George will get his fifty dollars and leave the place to find another job for himself. After he gets done with all the work he will find a cheap place for himself until he comes up with another idea for himself. Or maybe he's just gonna stay there the rest of his life. Yes something changed between George and Lennie because George won't be with Lennie no more since he's dead. "I'll take my fifty bucks an' I'll stay all night in some lousy cat house" (Steinbeck p.g 92). He won't be living with guys no more because of what Lennie did to Curly's wife and I don't think Curly would want George being there and working for his dad. So George will just have to go and find somewhere else to live all because of what Lennie had done.
