George:
I predict that George will later on be really close friends
with Slim. I think this because at the end of the book it showed that slim had compassion
for him. Slim also invited him for a drink like as if they were friends for a
long time and with trustworthiness. I think that later on George will buy the
place that him and Lennie had because since Lennie died he would probably want
to buy it in honor of Lennie. Also he is probably going to let Candy, and
crooks and slim help him out on the place that he wants to get. I think this
because in the book Crooks, and candy offered to help but later on Slim might
find out the plan and is probably going to want to help ou make that dream come
true and make a dream that many people have had but not accomplished.
I agree about George and Slim’s relationship. Slim was trying to cheer George up with a drink. Knowing George and Lennie’s backstory, he knew that George was really hurt when he had to shoot Lennie. But I don’t think George will buy the place that they wanted. It wasn’t just George dream; it was also Lennie’s. And if Lennie isn’t there with him to get the ranch, then what’s the point? Lennie was apart of George’s dream to get the ranch together.
