I think that George will get the land he and Lennie always
talked about. George and Lennie always talked about they were one day going to
own their own land with nobody telling them what to do, have their own animals,
and live out of the land. Once Candy got involved with the whole thing George
realized that it actually could be possible that they could own the land. In
the end of the book George tells Lennie how he wants to get the land fast. “Le’s
do it now. Le’s get that place now (Steinbeck, pg. 103).” “Sure, right now. I
gotta. We gotta (Steinbeck, pg. 103).” I also think that maybe he will take
candy with him, after all he needs Candy’s money to buy the place and when he
says “We gotta.” I figured he might be talking about candy, or maybe he was
just saying that to Lennie. Either way I think that George will have his own
land and do all the things that he and Lennie talked about.
That’s what I was thinking of too. Like because Linnie said he wanted some things for the land so I thing that George is going to do that he’s going to put it in the land the things that Linnie wanted and what he wanted too. Maybe curly or crooks are going to visit him. They probably wont though. They like to do there own things. You know what I mean right? You do know.
ReplyDeleteI like your prediction because it does sound like something that George will do. Although for my prediction is different then yours I still think that your prediction is accurate because George is a good guy and would do anything to remember Lennie. Except I am not sure if Candy and Crook will go because he might want to go alone so no one will mess anything up. The only person that I can see going with George is Slim.
