I feel like George is going to actually work to get that
land. He just had to kill Lennie, the same person who wanted to get the ranch.
I feel like he is actually going to get that land in the memory of Lennie. I
also feel like he is going to let Candy come work with him at his new land.
While George is living on the ranch and working for the money, I feel like
Curley is going to cause problems with him. Maybe George is going to let Crooks
live with them too when he gets his new land. Although he is going to get the
land, I doubt it will be any time soon. He will probably be sad for a while and
use his money to drink his problems away. When he gets over that he will
finally work for that stake and get the land.
I agree with everything you said. I also think that in the beginning George will be like depressed because he no longer has his best friend he travels with. Also that in the beginning he will drink a lot just to get his mind off of things or go to the whore house a lot too. I was thinking the same thing, that after a while he will start to save up his money to get the land Lennie and him dreamed about having one day.
