George affects Lennie by being his protector. He always
looks out for him. Even though Lennie barely can remember anything he still
kind of knows what’s going on. Lennie affects George by being the muscle of
them both. Lennie’s a very strong type of guy but he’s shorter. First day at
the job and had already late. Soon after they had met the boss they met his
son, Curly. Curly is known for beings handy, he likes to pick fights. As soon
as he saw Lennie he saw him as a threat. George told Lennie to stay away from
him. The same went for Curly’s wife. “Listen to me you crazy…” “Don’t you even
take a look at that b” (Steinbeck, 32). I do predict that even though Lennie
was told to stay away that he’d go back because he liked the way her clothes
and colors looked on her.
