In book of mice I can already tell that Lennie and Curly don't like each other. Also George said "Never mind, never mind. I'll tell you when. I hate that kind of guy"(Steinbeck pg.30). This tells me that George doesn't like him at all because the way he acts with Lennie. Lennie thinks that Curley's wife is pretty so I think that Lennie might want to do something with her because he thinks she's really pretty. Curly is not gonna get along with Lennie because Lennie is a big guy and the old man that they were talking with said "Curley's like a lot of little guys. He hates big guys (Steinbeck pg.26). So Curley is a little tough guy just cause his dad is the boss so he could do whatever he wants because he knows if someone does anything to him his dad could fire that person right away. Now Lennie he don't like being there anymore he doesn't want any problems with nobody all he wants is a stake with George. George wants to protect Lennie from him getting hurt until they get some money or something to eat. So he will try to not do anything to Curley so they'll get paid and get outta of that place.

I like your thoughts about how George looks after Lennie because how Curly acted towards them Lennie the most. Because he knows he is a good fighter and have a chance to win. Also since he like little guys more than big person like Lennie that could make the problems worst for them. Then since Curly is their manager if his is mad or has any conflict wither of them he probably would feed them or pay them for their work.
