In the book Of Mice And Men I predict that there is going to be a huge problem. I predict this because the four main characters have some problems between them already. Curley dosen't like Lennie because Lennie is a big guy. The old guy explains that Curley loves beating up big guys, “kind of like he’s mad at them because he ain’t a big guy. George dosen't like Curley because he had an attitude towards Lennie. Curley’s temper has only gotten worse since his recent marriage to a “tart” who enjoys flirting with the ranch-hands. Curlys wife has the "eye" and she will cause problems to all three. These are negative influences because this will cause the characters to have a huge problem. there is some foreshadowing such as when the old guy told them about the puppy, because Lennie likes to pet mice and other soft creatures, but kills them accidentally. Lennie thought curley's wife is "purty" but knowing that Lennie once grabbed a woman’s dress and would not let go.
