George effects Lennie in a positive and negitive way because George says That Lennie is all he has , and it's better to have someone with you , instead of being alone all the time. "We kinda look after each other. " ( Steinbeck Pg # 34 )When George is with Lennie , Most people think he's `always with Lennie because he wants Lennie's money , But George says " I told his old lady I'd take care of him."  ( Steinbeck Pg #23 ) Lennie is a quiet person , he doesn't really say much. He is a positive person . He always agrees with the things that George says. But when Lennie is usually around people he just stands there and listens to them talk back and forth.  If Lennie does talk he usually just say's " I don't want no trouble." ( Steinbeck Pg #29) Curly is the type of person who is always looking to pick a fight. " You the new guys the old man was waintin' for?"( Steinbeck Pg #25 ) Curly asked George and Lennie , But when George tried to answer , Curly told George To " Let the big guy talk." ( Steinbeck Pg #25 ) Lennie was embarrassed . Lennie did not answer to Curly , Curly told Lennie " Well nex' time you answer when you're spoke to " ( Steinbeck Pg #26 ) George doesn't really like Curly , George tell Lennie " Don't let him pull you in but if the son of a b**** socks you let him have it." ( Steinbeck Pg #30 ) Lennie doesn't show any emotions towards Curly . Curly's wife is the type of person that throws her body towards people and likes to show off her legs she tell George " You're the new fellas that just come , ain't ya? " ( Steinbeck Pg #31 ) She throws her self against the wall when she is talking to Lennie and George . George tell Lennie " Listen you bastard , don't you even take a look at that b**** " ( Steinbeck Pg #32) But Lennie thinks Curly wife is " purty" . Lennie says " Gosh, she was purty " ( Steinbeck Pg 32 ) Carlson is nice towards Lennie and George " You guys better come on while they's still something to eat " ( Steinbeck Pg # 36 ) George and Lennie like Carlson and Carlson hopes Lennie and George will able to work with him.
