A mercy killing is a killing of and patient suffering from an incurable
and painful disease, by the administration of large doses of painkilling drugs.
Mercy Killing refers to the practice of intentionally ending a life
in order to relieve pain and suffering. Also express intention of ending a
life, to relieve intractable suffering. It is euthanasia, which is understood
as termination of life by a doctor at the request of a patient. The
act of putting to death painlessly or allowing to die, as by withholding
medical measures from a person or animal suffering from an incurable.
To me mercy killing is when a very sick person gets tired
of fighting from their sickness and wants to give up so he or she tells the
doctor what he or she wants and they just give he or she the pills. I wouldn’t go
through with mercy killing because I would just keep fighting no matter how
hard it gets.
I like how you explained the topic of mercy killing very well. But you have multiple grammar errors. And you had no citation of your information. And you used too many words repetitively when it was not needed such as "he or she". I had a hard time finding more things on what you think about mercy killing. I also like the definition you provided because it’s very educational. Overall it was a good paragraph but there were a lot of minor mistakes!
ReplyDeleteI like how you explained "mercy killing" very well. I was able to understand what it meant. The only thing you left out was how does 'mercy killing is applied to humans and animals?" you could have made connections with the book. That was a big thing that you were missing. Your paragraph was very well, minor issues but well. Next time just don't leave things out. One last thing, it's better off using your own words when explaining a definition or a situation.
