Isela Pesina,Post 1

I think in the book "Of Mice and Men" George & Lennie would eventually get to their destination. When they arrive I predict that they will go looking for jobs everywhere. They probably won't get the first job they ask about. After some time with their job hunting they eventually will get hired. From what i read so far Lennie has a history of messing things up. "You can't keep a job & you lose me ever' job i get." (Steinbeck,pg16) Lennie also causes trouble. "You get in trouble. You do bad things & I got to get you out." (Steinbeck,pg16) Maybe after the talk George & Lennie had Lennie will be more responsible & cautions of his decisions. He probably would be a good worker & be on task at first. George would help Lennie be on task, when he gets paid i think he will go get Lennie the pup he said he would get him. "Tell you what I'll do, Lennie. First chance i get I'll give you a pup." (Steinbeck,pg14) If Lennie doesn't get distracted & cause them to loose a job again. I think the book will end by them keeping a steady job, Seeing how responsible George is he probably made up a savings plan up. Between the both of them they will make enough to finally get the house & farm they dreamed of. George will meet the girl of his dreams & Lennie will finally be able to pet as many rabbits as he wants without killing them.
