Claudia Ramirez Post#2

I think George affects Lennie in a positive way because he takes care of him like a brother, he protects him from others like Curly, Lennie affects George in both a positive and a negative way, the positive way is that he keeps him company and in a way he makes him happy even though he gets on his last nerve he kind of keeps him happy. The negative way is since he has a mental disability he kind of makes it more difficult than a normal person, he can get George into trouble and make them leave town again and not only that but he can lose his job like he has before because of Lennie. Curly is going to affect them both in a negative way, because he's always looking for trouble and it's almost always with tall men, like Lennie he already gave him trouble when he met them I think he's going to make it worse through the book. Curly's wife is gonna give them a negative effect in the book because she's always flirting with tall guys even though she knows she's married, I'm pretty sure she's going to flirt with Lennie and then Curly's going to get mad, then he's going to want to fight him and when that happens George might tell Lennie to fight back and then they're going to have to leave town again. I think this because according to the old man Curly is the type of guy that likes to start problems with other guys but mainly tall ones like Lennie, and Curly's wife is a "tart" as he said on page 28.
