George is mean to Lennie because he runs out of patients, But he cares about Lennie because otherwise why would he be taking care of him? Even though Lennie causes George a lot of problems they still stick together no matter what. I think Lennie was a mental disability because the way he acts and does things. Curly is the Boss's son, In the ranch they're working in. Curly is a mean little guy. He is short and thin but likes to pick on people, Especially on bigger guys like Lennie. George said he wasn't going to let Curly say or do anything to Lennie. There was an old man working in the ranch as well him and George were talking about Curly, The old man said Curly was tough because he was short and then and he didn't want to be made fun of, So therefore he made fun of other people, That's why he was mean to people. Curly is married but his Wife is a tart, She is a flirt. I think she's going to flirt with George when she meets him, I think she's going to like him. And Curly is going to find out and they are probably going to fight and then George and Lennie are going to get fired once again.
