I think that Curly is gonna try to get Lennie because he doesn't like bigger people than him. I also believe that George and Curly wont get along together neither. George and Lennie will still be friends and will work hard until they make their dreams of owning a ranch real. I think that George is not going to get along with Curly's wife either, because everybody warned him about her. The one bad influence in the book so far I think are Curly and his wife. Curly is being described as a mean small guy who will pick fights with anybody that is bigger than him. His wife on the other hand is being described as a very flirtatious person who has an eye out for other men besides her own husband. "Gosh, she was purty (Steinbeck, pg. 32)." I think that one thing that can happen is that Lennie will get a crush on Curly's wife and maybe try to kiss her or hold her and she could get scared and go and tell Curly which will make Curly even more mad at him and start a fight. If Curly does stars a fight with Lennie, then George would probably want to defend Lennie. Another thing that might happen is that Curly's wife could flirt with George and Curly could catch them and start to fight with George and Lennie steps in to help George, hurts Curly and has to run away.
