My thoughts on what this book will be about are is the great depression and how George is going to suffer. I think this book will end by them having a dog and a house with a few acres. ”O.K. Someday—we’re gonna get the jack together and we’re gonna have a little house and a couple of acres” (Steinbeck, 15). I also think since they had to walk and hide because of an incident were ever they are going to go they will run in trouble there too. “Jus’ wanted to feel that girl’s dress—jus’ wanted to pet it like it was a mouse---“ (Steinbeck, 12).  I infer is that since lennie is a little bit to slow he might get into arguments or fights or even get in trouble.  The last thing I think will happen is that they won’t make enough money to support themselves.
