After reading chapters 1 & 2 I think that Lennie, George, and Curly will have many problems throughout the book because everyone knows that Curly has good hands or is a good fighter. George said "Don't let him pull you in-but-if the son-of-a-.... socks you-let 'im have it(Steinbeck pg 30)".  Maybe one day Curly might found out that he had done something to her that wasn't right also not remembering what George had said "Don't you even take a look at that ...(Steinbeck pg 32)" to Lennie they will have to fight each other and maybe to help George would have join in or run away once again. Then I think that Curly's wife would be a big problem for all of them especially Curly just because of the type of character she is by showing off her legs knowing that she is the only girl there and that she works as much time as the men but has still has time to do "Her fingernails were red. Her hair hangs up in a little rolled clusters(Steinbeck pg 31)". She looks like she may cause trouble around them The worst thing that could happen is that Curly would attack George and Lennie because of his wife trying to flirt with them and then they both lose another job but it wasn't because of Lennie this time.
