Mercy killing is when someone kills a human being or an animal to
prevent them from suffering pain. Mercy killing can become nuisance to many.
Even though mercy killing is correct for their own precaution it’s not right.
Families do mercy killing to their beloved one's because they want to prevent
all the pain that they will go through. Pet owners think the same because they
know how much pain their pets will go through. It's not just for dogs or cats,
but for any other animal. I feel like mercy killing could be a good thing
because you are preventing all the suffering that a human being or animal could
through. Basically you're thinking about them all the pain that will be cause.
If you do mercy killing it will all stop. Like in the book how Carlson shot the
dog so it will stop suffering since he couldn't do much anymore, walking
around, not being able to eat etc., he did mercy killing to stop all of that.
Even though it's wrong, I'm pretty sure my self would want to do mercy
killing on myself to prevent all the pain I would go through if I had a
disease.
