George
has a positive effect on Lennie by looking out for him. Lennie has a negative effect
on George because he holds him back from having his own life and starting a
family. I think that Curly’s wife is going to flirt with George so that Curly
can fight him. I have a feeling that Lennie is going to get the puppy that he
wants so he won’t have to carry around a dead rat. If Lennie gets the puppy I
think Curly is going to run it over to make Lennie mad because he doesn’t like
him, which can also start a fight between them. Another thing that can happen
is Curly’s wife giving Lennie the eye and him pushing her away because he knows
not to talk to her and she can hurt herself and Lennie and George have to run
away like they did last time to find a new job some other place.
I do agree with the fact of George having a positive affect on Lennie. The thing that I disagree would have to be on whom Curly picks out to fight. I think that he will gang up on Lennie instead because he’s the “bigger” one. It would be a win win situation for Curly so why not fight him? I also agree that maybe they would most likely have to run again because on Lennie.
