My
prediction for the book ‘’ Of Mice and Men” is that George and Lennie will get the
job they need. But Lennie will end up messing it up for them again. Although
Lennie probably doesn’t mean to be hurtful, people don’t know that he isn’t
trying to be. The last time he did something wrong George and Lennie had to
leave the town because they would get in a lot of trouble. “Hide in the brush
till I come for you. Can you remember that?” (Steinbeck, pg 12) I think that is
giving us clues that Lennie will not remember where to hide when he gets in
trouble, if he does. I think they might get separated because Lennie won’t know
where to go. But then they will eventually find each other and the future they
imagined will happen.
I also think that George and Lennie will get the
job. But their boss will find out that Lennie might have mental disabilities.
So their boss might try to fire or hurt Lennie since they didn’t have a law to
protect mentally disabled people at that time. But some how they will run away
again and keep roaming around looking for jobs.
I like how you put a lot of details in your paragraph. For example the part where they had to run away , and people were looking for them. Also how you cited the page number of where you found your information.Good job
