George affects
Lennie both ways. Sometimes George is positive and sometime he is negative.
Lennie is always positive toward George. Lennie never says anything bad towards
George. George is always curing at Lennie. Lennie is a negative influence on
Curley. George doesn't like Curley because Curley is trying to fight Lennie.
Curley is a negative influence on George because Curley doesn't like George.
Curley's wife is a bad influence on George and Lennie. The reason why is
because she is always trying to sleep with everyone at the job. When she walked
in the room and was looking for Curley Lennie was just looking at her (Steinbeck,
pg. 32). I predict that Lennie is going to get them kicked out of the place.
The reason why is because when Curley's wife came in he couldn't stop looking
at her. I think that he is going to try to mess with her like he did to the
lady back in Weed.
I think that George is never negative I just think that sometimes he has his days where he just gets tired of lennie’s mess. I mean that’s normal because he does take care of lennie and I know he gets tired of dealing with him some days. That statement that you made about Curley’s wife about her sleeping with everyone isn’t for sure. We don’t actually know if she has or has not because we haven’t got that far in the book. I can see where your coming from though because the way she dresses makes it seems like it.
ReplyDeleteI also think that Lennie will try to do something to Curly's wife like that girl in Weeds. And yes sometimes George can be positive or negative. Maybe Lennie does something to Curly's wife and Curly gets mad, he tells his dad who is the Boss and gets George and Lennie fired. Maybe George gets mad that they lost yet another job because of Lennie and leaves Lennie alone and goes his separate way. Maybe Curly gets mad at Lennie and fires him only.
