Odeth Post #1
What I think about the book is that George and Lennie will start great but as the end is approaching they will face some minor conflicts. I think this because at the beginning of the story is telling us how Lennie forgets things easily. George Looks after him because Lennie has a tendency to touch things that grab his attention. In the book it Lennie says, "I tried not to forget. Honest to God I did, George." (SteinBeck,7). Lennie and George are going to work on an other place since they had a conflict with their old one. I'm pretty sure they'll be working in the other place better but, probably Lennie would forget about something or do something that will make them leave that job as well. In the beginning of the page George is telling Lennie, "..Think I'd let you carry your own work card?" (SteinBeck,7). I'm really not sure if they will stay at the end since we never know what can actually happen in a book that you haven't read at all.

I also think they are going to face some minor conflicts. That is a good point to point out how the book said that lennie forgets. I sincerely think the third sentence doesn’t really make any sense but once you kind of explained a little it kind of made sense. Also if you would have put in the second sentence and expanded a little more it would have made a lot of sense. I also think lennie is going to forget something and do something bad.
